Update - July 2026: Shopify is retiring Stocky on August 31, 2026, at which point all Stocky API connections - including MyWorks' Stocky purchase order sync - will stop working. MyWorks will continue to support Stocky as long as it's online.
To keep your purchase order workflow (and your QuickBooks sync) running without interruption, we built the proper long term solution ourselves: Stockroom - Purchase Orders, a completely free Shopify app by MyWorks with unlimited purchase orders and suppliers, that can grow with you. It's available now on the Shopify App Store.
If you currently sync purchase orders from Stocky
Install Stockroom from the Shopify App Store.
Import your suppliers and purchase order history from Stocky — the setup wizard walks you through it using your Stocky API key. Do this before August 31 - once Stocky shuts down, your data there can no longer be retrieved. See Switching from Stocky to Stockroom for the full walkthrough.
Connect MyWorks to sync your Stockroom purchase orders and bills to QuickBooks - the same PO, PO + Bill, and Bill options you're used to. Purchase order sync is available on the MyWorks Scale and Soar plans.
About purchase orders created directly in Shopify
Shopify's API still does not allow apps to interact with purchase orders created natively in Shopify admin. When Shopify adds Purchase Order API support, MyWorks will support syncing those as well.
