MyWorks supports syncing new and existing Shopify products and variations into QuickBooks! New products can be set to automatically sync to QuickBooks if desired, and existing products can be easily pushed into QuickBooks in MyWorks Sync > Push > Products / Variations.

Automatically syncing products

New products and variations created in Shopify can be automatically synced to QuickBooks, if desired! This can be enabled in MyWorks Sync > Settings > Automatic Sync. MyWorks would only automatically sync products/variations created in Shopify after this setting is enabled.

It's also possible to automatically sync Shopify products to QuickBooks right before we sync an order containing those products. This can be enabled in MyWorks Sync > Settings > Product - and is helpful for cases where the product doesn't need to be in QuickBooks until it's sold in Shopify.

Manually syncing products

Any Shopify products/variations can be easily pushed to QuickBooks in MyWorks Sync > Push > Products/Variations.

Product Fields

Since Shopify product fields differ slightly from QuickBooks, MyWorks handles syncing product fields in the below way when creating a product in QuickBooks.

If Shopify product/variation has a SKU:
Shopify Product SKU > QuickBooks Item Name/Number
Shopify Product Name > QuickBooks Item Description

If Shopify product/variation has no SKU:
Shopify Product Name > QuickBooks Item Name/Number
Shopify Product Description > QuickBooks Item Description

 Additional fields that will sync:
- Inventory Level
- Price
- Cost
- Barcode (if enabled in QuickBooks)
