When syncing Shopify sales into QuickBooks as a single daily Summary; it can be helpful to include the Cost of Goods Sold for the transactions that occured that day to record the accurate COGS in QuickBooks, especially if you're not tracking individual products in QuickBooks and managing inventory only in Shopify.
For cases like this, MyWorks easily supports syncing Cost of Goods Sold into QuickBooks within each Daily Summary, and this can be enabled in MyWorks Sync > Settings > Order by setting a QuickBooks Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory Asset account.

When enabled, the Cost of Goods Sold would be included in the QuickBooks Daily Summary journal entry, as shown in the below example - using the cost of the Shopify products that were sold during that day: correctly debiting the Cost of Goods Sold account, and crediting the Inventory Asset account.
