WooCommerce has issued a developer advisory that the built-in PayPal gateway previously included in WooCommerce will be deprecated, and advises all users to use the official WooCommerce PayPal Gateway plugin available on Wordpress.org.
We have encountered a number of users who have shared concerns about the official WooCommerce PayPal extension (below) having a low review score / user complaints.
