MyWorks supports syncing both Shopify gift card purchases, and redemptions, within the daily Summary that's synced to QuickBooks each day.
In MyWorks Sync > Settings > Order, you can select which QuickBooks Liability account is being used to track gift card sales and redemptions:
Then, when gift cards are sold or redeemed in a day's transactions, that will be correctly reflected in a section in the QuickBooks Daily Summary like shown in the below example:
